To look at his list of film credits over the past 40 years in the Movie Industry, there are those that do FX work, Set Design, Prop Making and Production Design; and then there is Mick Strawn who has done it all. From humble roots to making a name for himself in the industry is what becoming a legend in the industry is all about.

 

Look at his credits alone and you will see that he has been a part of over a half dozen major film franchises and has left his mark on the world of practical effects in not only the Horror genre, but in the Superhero world as well. With the ability to cross over from film to television productions, Mick has had a steady career creating some of the most unique sets and effects for those productions.

Mick is a unique storyteller who has done numerous appearances for Conventions all across the globe, but that has also allowed him to write his own story about being in the business titled: Behind the Screams; The Dream Masters Revealed.

His film credits include: A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master, Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, Candyman, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Blade, The Hidden, Tales from the Crypt (TV,) Freddy's Nightmares (TV,) Roger Corman's The Fantastic Four, Four Hercules films featuring Kevin Sorbo, Critters 2 and more. He recently worked on the Fan-Made-Film Friday the 13th:Vengence with the late Steve Dash (Friday the 13th Part 2,) and C.J. Graham (Jason in Friday the 13th Part 6.)
