Lynn Lowry

Lynn Lowry began her film career back in 1971 in a film titled The Battle of Love's Return for Director Lloyd Kauffman (who would later create his own independent studio: Troma Pictures.) Lynn would go on and star in a line up of films thereafter that became Drive in Cult Classics during the early to late 1970's such as I Drink Your Blood in 1970. She has worked with an array of incredible Directors such as: George A. Romero (The Crazies,) David Cronenberg (Shivers 1975,) and Jonathan Demme (Fighting Mad 1976.) Lynn has worked opposite such actors as; Peter Fonda, Scott Glenn, Noble Willingham, John Douchette, Phillip Carey, Barbara Steele, Mary Woronov, Annette O'Toole, John Heard, John Larroquette, Ray Wise, Malcolm McDowell and Nastassja Kinski.
Lynn moved from New York to LA and worked on projects that included her reoccurring role on TV's Knots Landing. She also continued to make her mark in local theater while in LA. She would later relocate back to Atlanta, where her wonderful Southern draw makes her stand out in many of her more modern film roles.
In 2005, she returned to film and co-starred with Brinke Stevens in Heaven Help Me, I'm in Love. From there on it has been a busy time for Lynn as she has starred with other notable horror icons in a vast majority of her more modern films. She has worked with many of her now Horror Convention associates such as Bill Oberst Jr., Tiffany Sheppis, Felissa Rose, Adrienne Barbeau, Courtney Gains, Michael Berryman, Doug Jones, Dale Midkiff, Yan Birch, Ari Lehman, Charlotte Mounter, Ken Foree, Sean Whalen, Debbie Rachon and Robert Allen Mukes.
Lynn is a true Icon in the world of horror films and a convention favorite. In 2019 two of Lynn's biggest fans, Directors Jen and Sylvia Soska, asked her to do a small part in their remake of the 1977 classic Rabid, where they cast her as Dr. Cynthia Burroughs. It's always something when the filmmakers turn out to be fans, as Lynn is loved by so many in the world of horror cinema.
