ABOUT THE HOT SPRINGS HORROR SHOW
This event is a unique meet and greet experience that coincides with The Hot Springs International Horror Film Festival. The film festival showcases many up and coming as well as veteran independent filmmakers who create Horror, Science Fiction and Thriller Genre Films. The festival also focuses on all aspects of film production and offers classes during the weekend to help others in the mechanics of filmmaking. While the majority of the Film Festival will be held at the Central Cinema 1008 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, The Embassy Suites Hotel will host many events for the festival in their event rooms.
The Hot Springs Horror Show is not a traditional Con, but more of a meet and greet experience that will also focus on panels that will help educate others to the art of filmmaking. With Limited vendors who focus on arts, crafts and merchandise related specifically to the Horror Genre, these vendors will also have an opportunity to talk to attendees about their craft and backgrounds as well as thier interest in horror films.

OUTSIDE FOOD IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE ATRUIM (1ST FLOOR) DURING CONCESSIONS AND KITCHEN OPERATIONS (The Hotel Evening Menu Dinner Service is served from 5pm until 10pm.)

Admission allows one person per paid ticket or wrist band into the event on the day/days as described below.

Selfies are not permitted without the verbal consent of any show guest talent.

While the Embassy Suites of Hot Springs is a Family Friendly Hotel, not all show events may be suitable for children: Parental Discretion is advised.
Show "Anatomy of a Scene" Q&A Panels Film Clips may contain adult themes, violence, language and/or nudity: Parental Discretion is Advised.
.) The Embassy Suites Hotel is not responsible for any content of the Hot Springs Horror Show; please address any show concerns with the designated event staff.
.) The Hot Springs Horror Show is not responsible for any hotel concerns; please address any hotel related concerns with the proper hotel staff or management.
.) LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS: Neither the Embassy Suites of Hot Springs nor the Hot Springs Horror Show is responsible for any lost or stolen items. We will gladly help you look for items that are misplayed, but we will not grant compensation for anything lost or stolen.
.) CONDUCT: Anyone displaying conduct that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, threatening or of questionable concern, including but not limited to rude, belligerent, offensive conduct (including excessive use of foul language) is prohibited. You will be removed from the show and the hotel. You will be warned once to act appropriately, a second addressing of any issue that violates these rules will result in your removal from the event and the Hotel.
.) COSPLAYERS whose costumes are deemed inappropriate will be asked to leave. Again, the hotel is a family friendly property and not all guest in the Hotel are show related. Use good judgement and choose wisely when deciding on your event costume. Remember Cosplay does not mean consent.
.) PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE for the actions of their children during the show and their stay at the hotel.
.) COVID PROTOCOL: Safety is a top priority for everyone attending the Hot Springs Horror Show, while masks are not mandated at this time in the state of Arkansas for attending this event, it is your discretion to wear one or not. We will not be held accountable for any Covid issues that could occur from your attending this event. Some Celebrity Guest Talents that are attending may require masks to be worn when approaching their table and that is left to the discretion of that celebrity.
.) WEAPONS: While some costumes rely on a character's weaponry as a part of the character, the Hot Springs Horror Show will not be responsible for any incidents/injuries associated with these kind of character props. If in doubt, leave your prop weaponry at home. We reserve the right to refuse admission to this event for ANY weaponry that we feel may jeopardize the safety of our attendees.
.) MEDICAL or SECURITY EMERGENCIES: Hot Springs has an amazing first responder program, if a situation arises that requires Police, Fire or Medical personnel we have some of the finest departments in the country.

.) Vendor space is limited.
.) You must be approved as a Hot Springs Horror Show Vendor, which means that you will get a welcome email with payment information sent back to you from the show. After we review your merchandise and approve you as a vendor, we will send you show information: set up times and such.
.) Your product should be related to the Horror Theme. We are looking for vendors who enjoy the Horror Genre, so at least 50% of your merchandise should be horror related. This is NOT a Comic-Con. We love Horror and hope you do as well.
.) All art, merchandise and other visual media must be in good taste as the show Hotel is a Family Friendly Venue. Any material that is deemed inappropriate to provocative or lewd, you will be asked to remove it. Failure to do so will result in you being removed from the event, without a refund for your booth space and banned from returning as a vendor for future shows.

Vendor spaces will not be reserved without full payment.
Once Vendor Space Sells Out, when they do and they will, we will start a space available waiting list. If a space becomes available, we will contact you via email to let you know that we can fit you in. You will be given 48 hours from the time of the email to respond and make your booth payment, and then will be sent a confirmation email that you are officially a part of the show.
